4:08 PM (in response to thezak) The only APC software currently compatible with a Mac OS is PowerChute Network Shutdown (PCNS). PCNS 2.2.4 is compatible with Mac OS X Server 10.6.2 and is meant to be used with an APC network management card. If you are using a different OS, or are looking to use a UPS that doesn't have/doesn't support a network management card you can use it with Mac's built-in UPS support.
Once the UPS is connected to the computer via the USB cable that ships with the UPS, you can configure shutdown in the Energy Saver section.
